Why we started Seeker

As children, we hated school. We lost our love for reading. It felt like a prison or a factory. Despite well-intended efforts, not much has changed. Then, we became parents and were reluctant to send our children into the same outdated system.

We looked around the world, did extensive research, and handpicked the best approaches we could find. This is a process we’ll continue in our quest to become the best school in the Netherlands.

The school for our children should be an inspiring place where they are valued, get curious, build character, make friends, and overcome struggles. A place of purpose, where everyone understands why they are here and what they are here to do. With a lot of freedom within clear rules. Where their love for learning is fueled instead of quelled.
