Groups

4-6 years: Pathfinders

At this stage, children are developing independence, self-discipline, and social skills. They are eager to explore their environment, refine motor skills, and engage in purposeful work. During this stage, children absorb information from their surroundings effortlessly, learn through hands-on activities and play, and develop a foundation for lifelong learning.

Opening September 2025

6-12 years: Questers

As they grow, these learners embark on quests—seeking knowledge, solving challenges, and gaining important skills to continue their adventure. This is the age where it becomes important for children to work with their peers. Culture and clear set of rules become important part of their education.

Opening expected September 2026

12-18 years: Trailblazers

In this phase, students carve their own paths, refine their strengths, and prepare to lead and make a meaningful impact in the world. Socratic discussions become essential for developing critical thinking, while real-life projects and apprenticeships help them build practical skills, explore their passions, and identify subjects where they can make a difference.

Opening to be announced

A day at Pathfinders

4-6 year olds

Curriculum focused on:

  • Exercises of Practical Life

  • Language (Vocabulary, Reading and Writing)

  • Mathematics

  • Natural Science/Geography

  • Sensorial Learning

  • Art/Music/Movement

Step into the world of Pathfinders and you’ll find an inviting space where children are encouraged to explore independently, driven by their natural curiosity.

The day opens with the gathering cycle to set the tone for the day. During the cycle our guides foster community through greetings, a short meditation, songs, and discussions about the day's activities, while also introducing new materials, teaching social skills, and preparing children for focused, independent learning.

The rest of the morning is dedicated to a work cycle, where learners engage with various Montessori activities that build their first foundations of math, language, writing and civilization. Throughout the space, children tackle a variety of tasks, with a range of options inspired by Maria Montessori's principle of offering 'freedom within boundaries.'

The children eat lunch all together which they prepare themselves as a community. Healthy snacks are available throughout the day.

In the afternoon, they immerse themselves in the outside playground, which centers on outdoor play with open-ended materials to nurture creativity and improvement on gross-motor skills. Some may be constructing large climbable structures, while others might be discovering new insects, or playing games with each other!

If weather is really bad, the outside time may be shorter and children will spend time playing together inside but we usually say there’s no bad weather, only bad clothing.

A day at Questers

6-12 year olds

When you enter the Questers space, you'll immediately notice it doesn't resemble a typical classroom but feels more like a collaborative studio environment.

Learners start their day in a circle where they set their intentions for the day and start a mix of independent work which is driven by their personal goals and builds a solid foundation in math, reading, writing, and civilization.

Further in a day it’s time for hands-on collaborative projects that expose them to different areas of study and encourage curiosity and love for learning.

In addition to this, learners participate in lively Socratic discussions and debates on topics ranging from current events to cooking, all aimed for them to become critical thinkers and learning how to make real-life decisions.

A day at Trailblazers

12-18 year olds

In the Trailblazers group , learners are preparing for the real world through hands-on apprenticeships, engaging interviews with local companies and industry leaders, and meaningful reflection on how their unique talents and passions align with global needs. They immerse themselves in a deep literature, learn to communicate with clarity and impact, and solve real-world challenges. Through thought-provoking Socratic discussions, they wrestle with timeless moral dilemmas, shaping their perspectives on civilization and studio governance. Learners also dive into advanced topics like biology, chemistry, physics, engineering, finance, and psychology through immersive quests and public exhibitions.

Trailblazers are currently in the concept stage. While the specific day-to-day details will be outlined later, this gives you a clearer vision of how development progresses through each age group at our school.
