Montessori Guide Basisschool (Leeftijd 4–6)

De Functie

Als Guide voor onze  4–6 jarige groep  (doel: 24 children) ga je:

  • Meebouwen aan de ontwikkeling en start van een geheel nieuwe 4–6 Montessori-omgeving: van klasindeling en materiaalvoorbereiding tot een dagritme dat lange, ononderbroken werkcycli beschermt.

  • Presenteer de Montessori materialen: Practical Life, Sensorial, Language, Math, Culture; opstellen van individuele werkplannen.

  • De klas-cultuur actief vormgeven, volledig in lijn met de waarden en leidende principes van Seeker Education.

  • Dagelijks observeren en documenteren in Transparent Classroom (of een vergelijkbaar systeem), inclusief heldere communicatie naar ouders en portfolio’s per termijn.

  • Nauw samenwerken met een engelstalige Guide en een klassenassistent binnen ons tweetalige model.

Wij zoeken iemand die:

  • Vereist: beschikt over een pabo-diploma (of een EU-equivalent, of DUO acceptatie dat lesbevoegdheid geeft voor het primair onderwijs in Nederland).

  • Vereist: AMI Montessori Diploma 3–6 (pré), of een gelijkwaardige Montessori-kwalificatie.

  • Pré: bevoegd is om gymlessen te geven aan kinderen van 4–6 jaar.

  • Ervaring: Minimaal 3 jaar ervaring in een Montessori 3–6-klas. Meer ervaring is welkom; ervaring met het opzetten van een nieuwe klas is een duidelijke plus.

  • Enthousiast wordt van het opbouwen van een nieuwe klas, en een lege ruimte weet om te vormen tot een prachtige, kindgerichte Montessori-omgeving.

  • Warm en professioneel communiceert met ouders, en daarbij de standaarden van Seeker en de Montessori-principes zorgvuldig bewaakt.

  • Georganiseerd is, zelfstandig werkt en professionele werkgewoonten meebrengt.

  • Zich met toewijding inzet voor de ontwikkeling van ieder kind en sterk is in het observeren van en inspelen op individuele behoeften en interesses.
    Deze posities is voor de nederlandstalige Guide; een goede beheersing van Engels is een plus.

Primary Classroom Assistant (Ages 4–6)

Eindhoven · Full-time · Start August 2026 

The role

  • Support the other guides — observing quietly, redirecting respectfully, and encouraging children’s concentration without interrupting their work.

  • Keep the environment in excellent order: prepare, rotate, and tidy materials; maintain cleanliness and safety indoors and outdoors.

  • Assist with practical-life activities, communal lunch preparation, and outdoor play supervision.

  • Record brief observations in Transparent Classroom (or equivalent).

  • Communicate consistently in either Dutch or English (your designated language) in line with our one-adult-one-language model.

We seek someone:

  • AMI Montessori Diploma/Certification 3–6 is a plus

  • Pabo teaching qualification (or EU-equivalent that confers primary teaching authority in NL) is a plus

  • Calm, clear communication with children and adults. Warmth, patience, and genuine enthusiasm for supporting young children’s independence.

  • Reliability, proactivity, and readiness to handle hands-on tasks—from repairing materials to preparing snacks.

  • Organized, with professional work habits

English Speaking Guide (Ages 4–6)

The role

As the english speaking guide for our 4–6 age group  (target: 24 children) you will:

  • Help design and launch a brand-new 4-6 age group environment: layout, material readiness, and daily flow that protects long, uninterrupted work cycles.

  • Present key materials across Practical Life, Sensorial, Language, Math, and Culture; curate extensions and individualized work plans.

  • Actively shape the classroom culture to align seamlessly with Seeker Education's values and guiding principles.

  • Observe & document daily in Transparent Classroom (or similar), producing clear parent updates and termly portfolios.

  • Partner with Dutch speaking guide and classroom assistant in our dual-language model.

We seek someone:

  • Required: Pabo teaching qualification (or EU-equivalent that confers primary teaching authority in NL).

  • Required: AMI Montessori Diploma 3–6 or equivalent.

  • Experience: 3+ years in a Montessori 3–6 classroom (more is welcome, new classroom set-up or bilingual school experience is a plus).

  • Excited to help build a classroom from scratch—turning a blank space into a wonderful child‑centered Montessori environment.

  • Family partnership: Clear, warm communication; while upholding Seeker standards and Montessori principles.

  • Organized, with professional work habits

  • Dedicated to nurturing each child's unique potential and skilled at carefully observing and responding to children's individual needs and interests.

  • This opening is for the English speaking guide; strong competence in Dutch is a plus.
