Elementary
Ages 6–12
As they grow, these learners embark on quests: seeking knowledge, solving challenges, and gaining important skills to continue their adventure. This is the age where it becomes important for children to work with their peers. Culture and clear set of rules become important part of their education.
Dutch and English, every day
Our bilingual Montessori approach continues through the primary years. During your introduction, we discuss your child’s language background and the support they may need.
Opening in stages
Lower Elementary, ages 6–9: opens September 2027. Enrolment is now open.
Upper Elementary, ages 9–12: planned for 2028 or 2029, with the year to be confirmed.
From discovering to understanding
Elementary builds on hands-on foundations, with more room for reasoning, imagination and independent enquiry.
Strong academic foundations
Mathematics, reading and writing remain central. Montessori materials help children move from concrete experiences towards abstract understanding, with individual guidance as their skills develop.
A wider view of the world
Connected explorations of geography, history, nature and science give learning a wider context. Children follow questions, make connections and deepen their understanding.
Learning with others
Individual work sits alongside shared projects. Children practise discussing ideas, planning their work and taking responsibility for their classroom community, supported by their Guides.
In addition to this, learners participate in lively Socratic discussions and debates on topics ranging from current events to cooking, all aimed for them to become critical thinkers and learning how to make real-life decisions.

The detailed daily timetable and tuition for 2027–2028 will be confirmed before enrolment arrangements are finalised.
Looking further ahead
Upper Elementary for ages 9–12 is planned for 2028 or 2029. We will share the opening year and enrolment details once confirmed.
